Some advice from owning mine is the little bit of condensation in colder temps will run down the inside of the tent and if your bedding is touching will soak it all up, is fine and doesnt seem to puddle up it just soaked into the bedding if too close. Also recommended replacing the knobs with nyloc nuts

I do have a mixed feeling about the overhang. One one hand I think it could be handy and give you some cover from rain when you are doing stuff at the back of your bed but on the other hand I feel like it looks weird and I am wondering if it does cost more fuel to run it like that. But I have to say that I love that rooftop tent

Bought the similar "Nature Nest" model and honestly blown away by the quality for the price. One thing I want To do but can't seem to find the proper mounts is to attach my Overland Vehicle Systems awning directly to the tent rail.

My best tip is to not let that Travis fella near your unit. All that hot air will really wear er out

You dont need anything except to open a hole, and shove the unit through it. Enough air goes into it from ambient, and hot is blown out - condensation is outside. Tilt the unit to drain.
